Rana said to me, ‘Let us go home.’
– Rana proposed to me that we should go home.
The boy said, ‘Let me have a pencil.’
– The boy said that he might have a pencil.
The teacher said to me, ‘May you live long.’
– The teacher wished that I might live long.
The man said, ‘Good morning my friends.
– The man wished his friends good morning.
